Social Science Trip to London

Year 12 social science students visited London to support their year 13 studies across both sociology and psychology. Students were given the opportunity to visit the Freud museum, the Clink prison museum, London Dungeons and take part in workshops that will build on exam skills. Students gained valuable cultural capital from the experience and have broadened their love of the subjects. This trip also gave the opportunity for many students that have never been to London before to experience key sights including, Houses of Parliament, Buckingham palace, the London eye and Big Ben. Both staff and students thoroughly enjoyed the experience with feedback from parents and students highlighting the academic and personal growth that students have subsequently made.
