Students take first step to becoming members of the Mercers Guild

Congratulations to students Liam Hall and Alina Hussain who were admitted to the Guild of Mercers’ Scholars today as apprentices. They have been matched to Apprentice Masters who can offer a wealth of advice and guidance to the students as they progress through university and into employment.

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, they will become Freemen of the City Of London and full members of the Guild. This membership will be invaluable to them, providing networking opportunities and access to educational activities and events.

The ceremony today took place at the magnificent Chamberlains Court at Guildhall in the City of London.
