Visit to the Birmingham Symphony Hall

Mrs Chambers and Mr Deakin took the Year 11 GCSE Music students out last week to see the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra performing at the Symphony Hall.

The orchestra performed four pieces in a concert named ‘The Sea’, which included works by Britten, Ades, Weinberg and Debussy and the sound that filled the hall was incredible.

This was a joint trip with other music students from Thomas Telford School. All of the students demonstrated mature and respectful behaviour throughout the trip and were praised by members of the public for their excellent manners. Well done to all involved.
