Madeley Academy reopened its doors in September 2009 with a brand new, state of the art building that is fully equipped to aid students and teachers in teaching and learning.
The building is light and airy, and is equipped with an underfloor heating system, air conditioning and automated windows to maintain a comfortable working temperature all year round for students.

Safety & Security
Student & Staff safety is of paramount importance to us. The site is protected by over 150 HD CCTV Cameras, PAXTON access control doors, ANPR technology, fire, intruder & lockdown systems. We also benefit from a 24/7 Security Gatehouse. All security systems are actively monitored by the Gatehouse, IT Managers and Pastoral Staff.
Sports Facilities
Students have access to a state of the art fitness centre complete with treadmills, stepper machines, weights, and an electronic "Wellness System" by Technogym, that is available for student and staff use. Within our grounds, we are also lucky to have a 3G all weather pitch, state of the art fitness centre (Gym), sportshall, football pitches, netball courts, tennis courts, athletics running track and rugby pitch.
Restaurant & Break Times
Madeley Academy benefits from 2 restaurants, the main restaurant and a VTC Café dedicated to our 6th Form students. A wide range of meal options are available to purchase for Staff & Students at both break and lunch times. Cash and Card payments are accepted. Students also have access to 2 football cages, basketball and table tennis during recreation time.
Computer & Media Services
Staff & Students benefit from an in house Computer & Media Services Department who deliver a prompt and effective IT support service via a single point of contact. The department is tasked with maintaining the school's data, telephony, security and audio-visual infrastructure and all associated IT equipment. Support is available all year round from our dedicated IT Office and we continue to invest in the latest hardware and software solutions to aid teaching and learning. Our team of in-house videographers allow us to produce weekly content including Broadcasts, PSHE videos and special video work.
