Road Safety Awareness
At Madeley Academy, the safety and wellbeing of our students, families, and wider community is a top priority. Road safety is a vital part of this commitment, helping to ensure that everyone can travel to and from school safely and confidently.
We encourage all members of our school community to take responsibility for safe behaviour on and around our local roads. This includes promoting awareness of safe crossing points, the importance of wearing seatbelts, using cycle helmets, and staying alert when walking, cycling, or travelling by car or public transport.
Through education, guidance, and partnership with families and local organisations, we aim to develop students’ understanding of road safety from an early age. By building good habits and raising awareness, we support our students in becoming responsible, safety-conscious individuals both during their time at Madeley Academy and beyond.
