Fruit-Full Schools Project

Madeley Academy have been selected as one of the 5 schools in the West Midlands to be a fruitful school. That means over the next 4 years we will be building an orchard to be designed by our students and encouraging fruit production in our local community.

So far we have had a wonderful launch of the project and the year 10 students have made a visit to the Attingham Park orchard to look at an established orchard. We have identified the trees that we would like to produce and will be carrying out grafting workshops in the autumn.
