Open Day Success!

Madeley Academy opened its doors yesterday to over 1500 visitors including prospective Year 7 students, their families and year 11 students interested in the Sixth Form. There was a wealth of activities on show including car racing in Maths, rocket building in Technology and forensics in Science. Visitors gained an insight into how special the Academy is through talks delivered by the Head teacher as well as by touring the facilities with student guides. Lady Satchwell said, “we were delighted to welcome such keen students and their families. This was our biggest ever turn out against the backdrop of our best ever results at GCSE. This an exciting time for the Academy and we look forward to applications from many of the students who visited yesterday”. Tours are running all this week for anyone interested in looking around the Academy. Please contact reception to book a slot.
